Chelsea is a Lafayette, Louisiana native and has been dancing since the age of two. She has had years of training in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical/Contemporary, and Hip-Hop, with an emphasis in Tap. She has attended and performed at competitions and conventions in the southern nation, receiving multiple tap scholarships and awards. In 2006, Chelsea attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she joined the nationally ranked Ragin’ Jazz Dance Team. The team competed at the UDA College Nationals at Disney World in Orlando, FL, placing third in the nation. Chelsea and the team were featured on ESPN. After graduating college in 2010, she became a dancer for Louisiana’s professional hockey team, the Louisiana Ice Gators. While she was performing, she was also teaching and attending competitions with her local dance school, River Dance Centre.
