Tana McKinney

Dance Instructor 

Hi my name is Tana McKinney. I have been dancing since age 6. I am currently a student at American River College studying Dance and Design Technology.

I started dancing at Elite Studio of Dance and I was there for 9 years learning lyrical, tap, ballet, jazz, and hip hop. I was also a part of my schools dance team at Cousnmnes Oaks High School called Hype for 3 years. My senior year I was a student director and choreographed 2 dances for their Showcase, both being contemporary styled.

My favorite dance style is contemporary and Jazz. Dance has been my passion for so long and I have dreamed of being a dance teacher ever since I took my 1st class. I am so exited that I get to start that process. Dance has been my way to express myself and over come hard challenges that have come up.
