Happy February! We're ready to share the love of dance with everyone at the studio. You've seen lots of save the date notices for our June Recital "Dancing Around the World". Now we're excited to announce costume sizing week February 6th - 11th. If you're missing class that week, that's okay, make an appointment with one of our administrative staff members and we'll get you all set! As soon as all of our instructors have selected costumes you will be able to view them on our recital pages too. Keep on reading for more important studio updates and exciting events!
✨February Studio Updates
- Studio Open 2/20 for President's Day
- Recital sizing week 2/6-2/11
- Reminder to not park at animal hospital or block any drive ways.
- Promoting the new bounce house party add on- images on website under parties.
- Spring Break Camp registration open
- Our Velocity Dance Company competed at Hollywood Connection and did so well! Keep an eye out on social media for some fabulous photos.
- Performance Group had the opportunity to perform at a Sac State Basketball game and totally rocked the court! Way to go dancers!
✨ Studio Open for President's Day
Make sure you double check your calendars! The studio will be open on President's Day and classes will be held as usual.
✨Save the Date!
We'll be dancing around the world at the Benvenuti Theater in Natomas on June 23rd and 24th. Classes will perform once in one of multiple shows we are hosting this weekend. Think your super star is ready for a solo? Reach out to us at info@fancyfeetdance.net to inquire about the solo performance process!
✨Recital Costume Sizing Week
Sizing week is coming up fast. Recital plans are in full swing! If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask, email us, or dm for more information. Keep an ear out in classes and take a look at our website for theme and costume selections! Teachers will be measuring dancers during their class time during the week. and giving them a sizing card with recital information and a recommended size. After that, you just hop online, purchase the recommended size selection, and you're all set! A helpful tip is to have your dancer's instructor and class time ready at hand for the ordering process.
✨Parking Reminder
Please remember to only park in designated Fancy Feet Parking spaces. We understand that this may mean extra planning for drop off and pick up from dance class but we also want to respect our neighbors. Do not park in the veterinary spaces behind the studio or across the street and please watch out for our neighbors in physical therapy next door the studio as well.

✨Now Enrolling for Spring Break Camp
Come and celebrate the magical friendships of these princesses and many more. Travel to a little village in France and dance with Belle, the famous Beauty and the Beast princess. Go down to “New Orleans” and see Princess Tiana and her friend the frog from The Princess and The Frog. Catch a wave with Princess Moana of Disney’s newest hit, Moana. Visit a frozen land with Princess Elsa. Join them in this magical world where anything is possible!
✨Dancer of the Month
The dancer of the month is Parker! Parker is one of our Velocity Junior Team members and it's her first season dancing competitively. She has worked so hard and been outstanding in her classes. This has paid off! Parker received a scholarship award from her first competition of the season, Hollywood Connection. Many of her choreographers, including Miss Alexis have mentioned how proud they are of this shining star. Congratulations, Parker!

✨Dancer of the Month
The dancer of the month is Eva! We are so proud of this tiny dancer performing onstage for the first time without her big sister. She's really come into her own and grown in leaps and bounds. Not only has she tried different styles and taken camps, we've been able to watch her accomplish every goal she sets with a smile on her face. Her teachers could not be more proud! Congratulations Eva!
