Big thank you to everyone who signed up to participate in "Dancing Around the World". We have seen such excitement form the dancers who talk about going on stage and cannot wait to celebrate the Summer Recital being back in a theater! With so much happening the studio this month make sure you keep reading to be up to date on all the latest information. Time to spring, hop, jump and twirl into classes!

✨April Studio Updates

• REMINDER: Spring Break is April 2rd - 9th. Camps will be in session but we are closed for weekly classes.
• Some of our Velocity Dance Company members performed at Fluid Dance Competition bringing back awards such as high gold, and platinum with fabulous feedback about how the studio develops dancers. Congratulations, we are so proud!
• Our Performance Group has the opportunity to dance at Raley Field before a River Cats game on 5/24. They will be performing around 6pm. Link to purchase tickets: https://fevo.me/fancyfeet
• Recital tickets go on sale May 15th!
• Just a few spots are left for our spring break camps, make sure you book your summer camps today!

✨Pop Up Camp

Looking for something fun to do over Spring Break or need extra time to yourself to plan for Easter? 

Fancy Feet is hosting a Friday Dance Camp for students ages 5-12 to learn technique, play games, do arts and crafts, and see their friends.

No dance experience necessary 

Ages 5-12 

Instructor: Miss Alexis 

April 5th 4:00-6:00pm at the East Sac studio. 

Please bring a water bottle and a snack.

✨Francisco The Bunny

Did you know one of our AMAZING instructors is also an author?

Francisco the bunny is a heartwarming, urban tale about an abandoned bunny determined to hop across South 11th Street to find a new home! Based on a true story, our atypical bunny hero meets a precious little girl with a special birthday wish only Francisco can make come true!

✨Injury Prevention Workshop

Milestone Physical Therapy in Roseville, CA would like to introduce its Healthy Dancer Initiative. Led by dance medicine physical therapists, the initiative aims to help dancers prevent injuries, gain knowledge about their bodies, and ultimately become stronger in their dancing. This In-studio Injury Prevention Workshop will include discussion on topics such as anatomy, cross training, warming up, safe stretching, and prevention of common dance injuries.

✨ Velocity Fundraiser Showcase

Come support the Velocity Dance Company by attending their Performance on 
Friday, June 16th 2023 @ 4:30pm 
Ticket Prices:
$30 adult 

$20 kids 

2 and under Free if sitting on lap 

Includes:
Admission to Show (all ages) 
Light Refreshments 

There will be a silent auction, photo ops, great dancing and delicious food! 
Proceeds from the night will go to the Velocity Dance Company to help dancers pay for their team expenses such as costumes, competition fees, and
travel expenses

✨ Audition for Our Competition and Recreational Teams!

We would love to have you try out and become a part of our performing family! Just this season our dancers have performed at Sac Republic Halftime, Images of Dance, a NEDA Awareness Benefit, the Sac Republic halftime, the Sac State Basketball games, and so much more. Our dancers have also brought home platinum awards, first overall placements, and attended dance conventions where they grow in leaps in bounds. If you're looking for the next step for your superstar, this is it! Auditions happen is a warm and welcoming environment with teachers and friends your dancer may even already know! See you there!

✨Dancer of The Month 

Ella is a graduating senior who has taken ballet with Miss Kristin since 2018 and dancing at Fancy Feet since she was little. A Velocity Dance Company veteran, Ella is now taking Ballet 4 and Pointe classes and plans to stay active and moving during her college semesters. We can not wait to see what journey she goes on next!

Fancy Feet will turn 12 on April 11th! Big congratulations to Miss Elizabeth for all her hardwork and dedication over the years!!

Can't wait to "Hop" into dance together, see you at the studio!
