Can you believe the weather feels like summer already?! That just means recital is around the corner and school is almost out. Who's counting down the days till we jump in the pool. With the increased heat, please make sure your dancer is bringing plenty of water to class and is ready to go in athletic attire or class uniform. We have quite a few updates and events to share with you this month so pull out your planner and keep on reading!
✨May Studio Updates
- We will be closed on Monday, May 29th in observance of Memorial Day. We appreciate and remember those who fight so we can continue to do what we love.
- We are SO excited to welcome Miss Bethany to our staff! Bethany has been dancing professionally for 5-6 years in the Sacramento, San Francisco, and LA areas for organizations such as the NBA, Sac Dance Lab, SAC PRIDE, Earth Circus, Crocker Art museum, and more. Read her bio here!
- Recital is coming up quick! Make sure you have important dates like photos and ticket sales on your calendar.
- May brings Mother's Day and we love hosting events to celebrate! You can keep scrolling to save a spot in a dance and paint or toddler dance party.
✨Sign Up to Audition for Velocity or Performance Group
We have something for every age and skill level of dancer! Don't think dance moms. Our Competition and Performance companies are dancers who spend time together, support each other, uplift one another, and grow together. Performances and awards are just the bonuses. Dancers of any age can try out! Check out our Velocity and Performance group pages on the website for suggestions, season expectations, and past performances.

✨ Mother's Day Toddler Dance Party with Miss Heather!
Friday, May 12th 9:30-11:00am Studio E (East Sac) ages 18 months- 5
Come bring your little ones to this fabulous Mother's Day Dance party led by Miss Heather!
There will be dancing, crafts and games!
Parent participation encouraged!!
✨Mom and Me - Dance and Paint Event
Express yourself and explore your creativity with this fun workshop! You'll learn a dance together and then get to chat and paint whatever your heart desires. Such a great opportunity to bond with your amazing dancer.
Friday, May 12th 5:00-6:30pm Studio E (East Sac)
Moms and daughters will spend the evening dancing and painting together! Miss Elizabeth and Miss Lindsay will be leading this event!
Event will be held at the East Sac studio in Studio E.
✨Take Me Out To the Ball Game!
Our Performance Group has the opportunity to dance at Raley Field before a River Cats game on 5/24. They will be performing around 6pm.
✨Recital Reminders
You can now view your dancer's show time (and double check it!) on our website. Reminder! Everything is listed by class day and teacher so make sure you double check which show(s) your superstar is performing in if they attend more than one class a week.
Mark your calendar! The sooner you know who is RSVP-ing to see your dancer shine onstage the more seats that can be reserved together. Keep an eye out for an email with more ordering details.
✨Dancer of The Month
Congratulations to our Dancer of the Month for May! Molly is on our Mini Velocity Team and she is a superstar. The minis received 5th place overall at the fluid competition, which is quite the accomplishment. She is a dancer who comes to class with amazing energy every day and Miss Alexis says she can always find a way to make you laugh. We are so lucky to have such bright energy and attitude in our studio. Bravo, Molly!
